Fix the inherent play between the forward clutch belleville spring and factory cast aluminum piston with this extra height billet aluminum piston. It will also keep the belleville spring from over-extending which can cause the stock forward piston to come out of the bore. When that happens, your vehicle will drive forward in neutral and you will have no reverse.
 
Fits all 727, 518, 618, 46RE/RH, 47RE/RH & 48RE torqueflite transmissions up until 2007.
 
Select desired piston height in product options.
*Note* .875" commonly fits 727 & 47RE/RH transmissions and .850" commonly fits 48RE transmissions. Select .900" if you would like to machine the piston in a lathe for a perfect fit.
